I went here earlier this year with my husband for a special date night to celebrate. This was the most beautiful experience for me because it reminded me of all the beautiful things that started in Chicago. This was like waking into a pop out story about the history of the city. After the walk to the elevator i was amazed because inside was a video about the history of the Willis tower displayed over the entirety of the elevator's walls. The ride up went quick and smooth and at the top I saw the entire city. I planned my trip in the evening to take full advantage of the city lights. The top was just as beautiful as I remembered and the ledge made the sky deck even more special. I remember going there as a kid when the ledge first opened and seeing it as an adult was nostalgic. It was nice to see all the things they added over the years. This made the tower not only a place for tourists but a place to relive your childhood if you grew up in or around the city. 10/10 experience.

Such a great place to visit to get some of the best views of the city from above. Definitely worth a visit. Fun photo op's on the way to the sky deck with history about the city as well. My favorite part was standing on the ledge and looking at the city. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Clean viewing and restroom facilities. I'd love to visit again someday. 🙂

While expensive, I loved this experience. I recommend going on a weekday so it’s less crowded. I loved the small exhibit at the entry, the unique elevator experience, and the opportunity to get back in line for photos (90 second limit). All the staff were kind and helpful. They even took my picture since I was traveling alone. I really enjoyed the entire experience and would do again if visiting Chicago in the future!

If you want to get great photos my suggestion is to arrive around 6.30-7pm so you can catch the sunset. If you are in a rush then the expedited entry is your best option, but if that is not the case i strongly recommend going with the standard experience. They have tons of great displays to learn more about Chicago and the building in general that you cannot miss!

I had a great experience visiting Skydeck Chicago! The views from the 103rd floor were absolutely stunning—you can see the entire city and even other states on a clear day. Standing on The Ledge, the glass balcony, was thrilling and a bit scary, but totally worth it. The staff were friendly and the whole place was well-organized. It can get a bit crowded, so I recommend going early. A must-see spot if you’re in Chicago!

Coming from the 80's and basically living the Ferris Bueruller's day Off lifestyle I had to follow their steps on this trip. Plenty of great items to see as you walk to the elevator and standing on a 1.5" piece of glass is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The staff is great and made the trip enjoyable.

The best option if you’re looking for an amazing view of the city. I loved how the experience was thoughtfully designed from the beginning; with interesting facts about the city and perfect photo spots even before the main attraction. The elevator ride itself is a nice touch of flair, and the window views are incredible. If you get creative, you can capture some really stunning photos. It’s definitely a must if you’re in the city.

It is an exciting experience to see yourself 103 floors above the street level! Also the entire floor gives a 360 degrees view of Chicago... In fact you can also see the state of Indiana across the lake and all the other exciting locations around Chicago like a bird's eye view. Additionally, before you get to the to for, you also get to experience history and other interesting things of Chicago in the basement.

The Chicago Skydeck is hands down one of the best places for a proposal! I’ve photographed a few engagements here and every single one has been magical. The views are unbeatable and the glass ledge makes for the most unique and memorable photos.

If you let the team know in advance that you’re planning to propose, they offer special tours and can help make the moment extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to pop the question in a truly iconic Chicago location!

Fantastic view! Great birds eye view of the entire city.

If you are sensitive to pressure changes or get vertigo due to heights this probably isn't for you .
The elevator ascends and descends so quickly you need to pop your ears to relieve the pressure. The building does sway slightly. Some people waiting for the skydeck said they were feeling "motion sickness".

I have a slight fear of heights. When the attendant had me step out onto the platform to get a picture I did it not thinking about what was happening. I was fine but then when I went to take my own pictures I realized how freaking crazy it was to be standing on a 1.5" piece of glass out over the city 103 floors below. I had to stake little baby steps to get out there. It was worth it but whoa, what a thrill

We had this on our City pass and I’m so happy we did! The elevator ride played a cool video that helped us learn about the rebuild after the great fire. We loved playing I spy with the kids and We got to skip the line with our city pass! I strongly recommend the sky deck over 360! We loved it!

Restrooms available at the top. Good places to eat at the bottom!

Skydeck Chicago is absolutely super cool and a must-visit when you’re in the city! Located at the top of Willis Tower, it offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the entire Chicago skyline, Lake Michigan, and even neighboring states on a clear day.

The main highlight, of course, is The Ledge — the glass boxes that extend out from the building’s edge. Stepping into one is a thrilling experience, and the photos you get are unforgettable. It’s a perfect mix of adrenaline and awe.

The experience is well-organized, with exhibits and videos along the way that share the history of the building and the city. But the real reward is when you reach the top — you’ll be blown away by the view.

If you’re visiting Chicago, Skydeck is a must-see landmark. Come early or during sunset for the best lighting and fewer crowds. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Went during the week with the general admission and it wasn’t too bad. Their gift store is a bit pricy. Be sure to visit the ledge. It’s pretty neat. You get 90 seconds for photos.

So it was a completely overcast day. But we bought the City Go passes....so worth the cost...and figured why not bc we ate not getting a refund....we had the best time. The picture opportunity before riding the elevator were amazing...and no one went up so we had the whole floor ro ourselves....no need to continually get in the queue for more time! The kids and parents alike had a great time and the staff was amazing!
