The Ledge
Suspended 1,353 feet above the city on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower, The Ledge dares you to step into the sky. These five all-glass balconies extend 4.3 feet outside the building, putting nothing but crystal-clear glass between you and the streets far below. Hearts race, palms sweat, and eyes go wide, the moment your foot leaves solid ground, the city opens up in a whole new way.
Each balcony is built from three layers of half-inch laminated glass and engineered to hold up to 10,000 pounds. The structure is as safe as it is surreal—retractable, crystal-clear year-round, and virtually invisible from above or below.
