Chicago’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a beloved holiday tradition that brings participants to Chicago from around the country. During the big event, they’ll get to showcase their talents while they experience the city from one of its most unique vantage points. Take a look at what you’ll find at the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on November 23rd in the Chicago Loop. How to Attend Chicago’s Thanksgiving Parade

While attendance to the parade is free, it’s recommended that you arrive really early to grab a great spot to catch all the action. Not sure where to go? We cover the Chicago Thanksgiving parade route in more detail below.

Alternatively, you can buy a spot in the VIP area, located at 111 N. State Street in the TV Zone. Those in the VIP area not only enjoy prime views of the parade, but also bleacher seating and private restrooms. VIP tickets cost $70, and food and drink will be available on the day of the event.

Can’t make it at all? Don’t worry—watch in your pajamas with your morning coffee from the comfort of home! The parade will be broadcasted on the CW, as well as on Pluto TV—available on smart TVs, computers, tablets, and even phones.

2023 CHICAGO THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ROUTE

In 2023, Chicago’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will march north, starting at the corner of State Street and Ida B. Wells Drive. It will continue north until it reaches Randolph Street, where the festivities come to an end. It’ll pass within six blocks of the Skydeck, which makes us the perfect post-parade stop. Warm up with some incredible views as Chicago rings in the holiday season! Fair warning: a visit to Skydeck Chicago might turn out to be the best part of your day!
