Get ready, because the Chicago Beer Festival is October 7, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Field Museum! This is just one of many events returning to our Loop neighborhood in 2023, and the crew at Skydeck Chicago couldn’t be more excited to welcome over 65 of the best craft breweries in the Midwest and their fans back to Chicago. Located just two miles southeast of Skydeck Chicago, we’d love for you to stop by The Ledge before you visit the festival. We’re just a 20-minute CTA ride away. Enjoy a quintessential Chicago autumn evening with the 2023 Chicago Beer Festival and Skydeck Chicago! 

Why Attend the Chicago Beer Fest at the Field Museum?

If you’re a craft beer enthusiast, you won’t want to miss the Chicago Beer Festival! 2023 tickets cost $50 for general admission and $65 for early admission. You’ll have all evening (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.) to sample 40 autumn beers from over 65 craft breweries — from local Chicago favorites like Revolution Brewing and Right Bee Cider to award-winning breweries and cideries from the Midwest and beyond. If you’d like more time to try beers and ciders without the crowds, the $65 early admission buys you an extra hour of sampling time. Food, live music, and select Field Museum exhibits will also be available!

Chicago Beer Fest at the Field Museum: Things to Know Before You Go

While giving you the opportunity to try new and old autumn beer favorites, the Chicago Beer Festival 2023 has a few requests for attendees: 

  • Plan your transportation: Parking at Soldier Field is available for $22, but please make plans to use CTA, cabs, or rideshare if you’ll be drinking. 
  • No one under 21 admitted: This included infants and toddlers.
  • No pets allowed: Unless it’s a service dog, please leave your pet at home.
